Tara Shepherd, Executive Director
Tara Shepherd was named Executive Director in 1999. She is responsible for the day to day management and programmatic operation of the organization. Prior to joining HART, Tara served as director of a downtown business improvement district in Millburn Township, NJ and as Director of Community Relations for the economic development agency in the City of Elizabeth, NJ. She has extensive experience in community development and nonprofit management. Tara holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Political Science from Rutgers University.
Diana Davis, Business Administrator
Diana Davis joined HART in 1998. As Data Administrator, Diana is responsible for grants management and reporting as well as overseeing all information technologies. Diana holds several Microsoft certifications. She is an avid recreational cyclist, regularly cycling Hunterdon County roads and trails. Diana is a Certified Instructor through the League of American Bicyclists.
Christina Edzenga, Commuter Services Manager
Since 2004, Christina Edzenga has managed the carpool, vanpool, and employer services programs, which includes nearly 1,000 commuters at more than 80 worksites. Christina holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from The College of New Jersey.
Cathy Taglienti, Community Mobility Coordinator
Cathy works to advance the recommendations of the Hunterdon County Coordinated Human Services Plan and similar regional plans, which identify the transportation needs of individuals with disabilities, older adults and individuals with lower incomes Cathy also oversees the Traffic Alert Service and Information Outreach Partner Network. She has been with HART since 2001.
Ryan Fisher, Pedestrian and Bicycle Programs Coordinator
Ryan became the Hunterdon County Safe Routes to School Coordinator in September 2012 where he is responsible for encouraging students in grades K-8 to walk to school where it is safe and to “make it safe” where it is not. Prior to joining HART, Ryan served as Assistant Director of the Aftercare Program for the Hunterdon County YMCA. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Recreation Administration from Kean University. He is a League Certified Instructor through the League of American Bicyclists.
Nathan Charron, Environmental Education Coordinator
Nathan joined HART in 2013 as Environmental Education Coordinator. He provides assistance to municipalities as they pursue certification under the statewide Sustainable Jersey program, and provides educational programming to schools, municipalities, and the business community. Prior to joining HART, Nathan served as a Watershed Specialist with North Jersey Resource Conservation and Development. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and Natural Resource Management from Rutgers University.
Jenn Rispoli, Information Outreach Program Associate
Jenn joined HART in 2015. She is responsible for ensuring that the 300 + information outreach racks that HART maintains around the county have the most up to date bus and train schedules.
Jeff Clayton, Information Technology Associate
Jeff has been working with HART since 2009. His is responsible for maintaining the harttma.com website; redesigning it as needed to provide for an engaging site that offers the public ease-of-use. He operates the infrastructure behind HART’s traffic alert service (TAS) ensuring the timely delivery of traffic alerts. Jeff has an extensive background in XHTML, CSS, Java Script, .NET programming as well as Adobe PhotoShop. Jeff holds degrees in Business Management and Computer Information Systems and from Brookdale Community College and DeVry University.
