The goal of the “Hunterdon County Safe Routes to School Program” is to fully embrace the goals of Safe Routes to School:
1) Where is it safe, get kids walking and cycling
2) Where it is not safe, make it safe.
This is achieved through a comprehensive program that encompases - Education, Encouragement, Enforcement and Evaluation, as is appropriate at each of the targeted schools.
Hunterdon County Safe Routes to School Coalition
