Municipal "Travel Demand Management"
Education Program
Hunterdon County communities can learn how to integrate “travel demand management” strategies into municipal master plans, zoning ordinances and other policy documents. This program teaches municipalities the questions to ask applicants so that the community offers transportation choices, including non motorized transportation, limits emissions and waste, reduces the consumption of non-renewable resources, and minimizes the use of land. Simple questions asked during the site plan review process can make a difference! For information on how HART can assist your community, FREE of CHARGE, click here.
