Route 173 over the Musconetcong River in the Borough of Bloomsbury

UPDATED REPORT: March 3, 2010

Work: Bridge Deck Replacement
Location: Route 173 / EB & WB / vicinity of MP 3.4
Municipality/County: Greenwich / Warren County and Bloomsbury / Hunterdon County

Impacts: Route 173 will be closed at the bridge (between Maple Drive and Warren Glen Road), local access will be maintained.
Detour: – Route 173 EB will be detoured to CR 637 (South Main Street) to I-78 EB to Route 173.

Route 173 WB traffic will follow the same detour in reverse.
Currently, the bridge is expected to remain closed for 125 calendar days.

Start Date: March 5, 2010 (Weather Permitting)

Staats Road - Bethlehem Twp (2/4/10)

On or about February 8, 2010 through April 9, 2010, improvements will be made to Staats Road between Milford Road and County Route 579 in the Township of Bethlehem. Construction crews will be performing storm drainage installation and paving during the hours of 7 am to 5 pm, residents / commuters may expect delays, road closures and detours.

Route 202 over Route 31

Work: Stage 2 - Construct center portion of the new Route 202 SB bridge deck over Route 31.
Location: Route 202 / SB / MP 5.50 (Route 202 SB over Route 31)
Municipality/County: East Amwell Township / Hunterdon County

Impacts: Nighttime temporary lane closures are required to implement the new traffic pattern for one or two nights.
Once the new traffic pattern is implemented, two eleven foot wide lanes will be maintained. The lanes will split around the work zone which will be located in the center portion of the roadway, one lane on either side. The ramp to Route 31 SB will be maintained.The work zone will be in the center portion of the roadway defined with temporary concrete construction barrier. Wide loads will not be permitted through the work zone due to the reduced lane widths. Signs will be posted directing wide loads to use Route 179.

I-78 NJ/PA Toll Bridge

Construction on the I-78 Toll Bridge westbound between New Jersey Side in Pohatcong and Pennsylvania Side - Toll Plaza in Easton. 3 toll lanes closed to traffic until 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 26, 2010 for the installation of Express EZ-Pass Lanes.
