Commuter Café

Would your co-workers or employees benefit from learning more about these and other commute topics? Staff is available to provide onsite presentations as part of our Commute Café series.

Presentations are conducted by a staff member and/or a representative of the AAA Foundation for Safety. Sessions last approximately 45 minutes with 15 minutes for Q&A. The time may be adjusted as needed. Topics may also be customized by worksite.

Driving in Snow & Ice

Learn the specific tips you need to navigate the roadways in winter weather- including pre-trip preparations and how to maneuver your vehicle in various snow/ice conditions.

Wet Weather Driving

Wet roads can be deceptively dangerous. Learn how to handle your vehicle in a hydroplane incident, as well as other tips to keep you safe on rainy days.

Distracted Driving

Distractions are everywhere. But, many distractions can be avoided. Learn the science behind distracted driving and ways to stay focused while you are driving.

Drowsy Driving

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) estimates that drowsy driving “is responsible for at least 100,000 automobile crashes, 71,000 injuries, and 1,550 fatalities". Learn what you can do to avoid being a drowsy driver.
